When I first started Team in Training, everyone got confused by “Jenni and Jinny”. Jinny is my running buddy, pictured here. We run at the same pace and enjoy naming the wrinkly, balding men we pass on our long runs. It appears I have a knack for naming these guys, Stew, Harry, Leroy. Jinny named one guy at about mile 9 that had me laughing so hard I forgot I was running. This game is sort of like one of the games you play in the car, “i spy” or “find the license plate”, or if you’re in my family “the movie game”. Running games: “name the wrinkly bald men”. Coney Island is a fine place for this game, as was Jones Beach!

So here is Jinny and I after we kicked butt at the NYC half marathon, both coming in sub 2 hours.
